Maitech Sales and Service specialise in Integrity Testing of Heat Exchangers, Plate Plants and Tubular using the Accutest System.
The Accutest System involves filling the primary circuit of any heat exchanger with Helium gas to a pressure no greater than 30 psi.
The Helium gas being a highly mobile and noble gas will easily locate any defects within the plant.
The secondary side of the heat exchanger has a low volume air circulation fitted with a detector probe as an integral part.
The probe detects any crossover of Helium to the secondary side to as little as 2 ppm.
